AI That Pulls Its Weight

We're deliberate about where AI goes in Bashbuilt. The rule is simple: it has to solve a real problem better than the alternative, and it can't be a black box. Plenty of softwares add AI because it's flashy and their shareholders expect it. And they throw it everywhere. We only add it where it earns its place.

Small team, on purpose.

Bashbuilt is built and run by a very small team. That's a choice, not a limitation. Staying small is how we keep pricing flat, skip per-seat fees, and answer to customers instead of investors.

But a small team can't staff a phone bank, and we're not going to pretend otherwise by making you wait two days for a reply.

AI support solves that honestly. And it's genuinely better than the traditional version:

It's On 24/7

6 am before the crew rolls out, 9 pm when you're finally getting to invoices, anytime, it's always there.

It's In the App

Don't interrupt what you're doing, just hit Ask Bash and keep working.

It Knows Your Account

It can see how you set up Bashbuilt, so you get an answer about your data and configuration.

This covers most of what comes in and the rest, the genuinely hard stuff, goes to a person. That's the whole point. AI support handling routine issues is what frees up our team to spend time on the problems that need a person who can actually go fix something.

What We
Promise

  • You can always reach a person. AI is the front door, not a locked one.
  • You'll always know which one you're talking to. We don't dress a bot up as a person.
  • It answers from your account and our documentation. When it doesn't know, it says so and hands off instead of guessing.
  • It's included. You don't pay per conversation to ask a question about software you already bought.

We didn't put AI in support so we could shrink the team.

We put it there so a small team could get you a better answer, faster, than a big one would.
